About Ubisoft Connect
Ubisoft Connect is Ubisoft's service for players across its games. On Windows it works as a launcher that installs and updates Ubisoft titles, shows your library and tracks progress, while the winget description says it aims to give players a good environment to enjoy games and connect with others on any device.
It includes friends lists, chat and rewards tied to in-game activities, and a companion app on iOS for staying connected on a phone. The PC launcher is required to start most Ubisoft titles that are sold through it.
Ubisoft Connect suits players who own Ubisoft games on PC and want updates, cloud saves and social features in one place. It does not host games from other publishers.
