Minecraft
PaidA sandbox game of building, crafting and survival, available on desktop and mobile in its Bedrock and Java editions.
About Minecraft
Minecraft is a sandbox game in which you gather resources, craft tools, build structures and survive in a world made of blocks. It supports survival play with hostile creatures, a creative mode with unlimited materials, and multiplayer on servers or with friends.
The game exists in two main editions. Bedrock runs on Windows, consoles and mobile, and the Java edition runs on Windows, Mac and Linux with strong support for mods and community servers. The official Minecraft Launcher installs and starts the desktop versions. The mobile app is a paid purchase, listed at $6.99 on the App Store, and the Google Play listing includes in-app purchases for extras such as cosmetic content.
It suits players of nearly any age who enjoy open-ended building, and it remains popular with families and educators. Because it is a paid game, expect to buy the edition that matches your platform; one purchase does not always cover every edition.
Check which edition you are buying before you pay, since Java and Bedrock are separate. The launcher on Windows is only a front end and does not include the game itself.
