Microsoft 365 Copilot
FreeMicrosoft's AI assistant app for drafting, summarising and working with documents and presentations, available on desktop and mobile.
About Microsoft 365 Copilot
Microsoft Copilot is Microsoft's AI assistant. The Google Play description positions it as an assistant for work, helping with early ideas through to finished documents and presentations, and it offers conversational help on phones and tablets.
The store listings are for the standalone Microsoft Copilot app on Android and iOS, and this entry also covers the Windows and Mac downloads. In practice it works as a chat-style assistant that can answer questions, summarise material and help you draft text. Features tied to Microsoft 365 apps such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint depend on your Microsoft account and plan.
It suits people already in the Microsoft ecosystem who want one assistant across devices. The apps are free to download and sign in with a Microsoft account, while the Play listing notes in-app purchases and ads. Which capabilities you get, and whether a paid subscription is needed for workplace features, depends on your plan and organisation.
Check which Microsoft 365 features your plan includes before expecting full document integration. The standalone app and the workplace features are not the same thing.
