About Moon+ Reader
Moon+ Reader is an ebook reader for Android with a reputation for deep customisation. Its listing names a long list of supported formats, including EPUB, PDF, DJVU, AZW3, MOBI, FB2, CBZ, CBR, DOCX, TXT and HTML, as well as OPDS catalogues for browsing online libraries.
The reading screen can be tuned in detail: line spacing, font scale, justified text, themes, a day and night switcher, several page-turn animations and auto-scroll modes. Controls are configurable, so screen taps, swipes and hardware keys can be mapped to actions such as search, bookmarks or font size. A bookshelf view organises files by favourites, downloads, authors and tags.
It suits people who read local files in many formats and like to adjust everything. The app is free to install and the Google Play listing declares both ads and in-app purchases, so a paid Pro version is available for those who want to remove ads and unlock extras. Its Play rating is lower than most readers here, which mostly reflects the dense interface and ad load.
The option screens are dense, so expect to spend a few minutes in settings on first use. Consider the Pro upgrade if the ads bother you.
